This work was a dream come true for Ingrid. It allowed her the space to develop a brand here in SA, to work with non-profits to promote the core messages of Team SCA, to work alongside an incredible team of people whose passion for the sport and the environment was inspiring. The highlight though? Getting to belt around Table Bay on Team SCA during the In-Port race in a howling South Easter.
Her roles included conceptualising and managing events that would create interest for the media and then manage the media interest generated from these events across all platforms. Ingrid had to source initiatives to support the CSR objectives of the company and manage the actual activities and media interest. She had to
promote Team SCA to all media platforms (brand Team SCA and the Team SCA crew and support team), identifying media to approach for collaborations and managing all media interviews securing an audience value of close on 54 000 000.
